The name "ZDZ" has specific meanings:
Z: Stands for "Zhu" (Cylindrical) Gear.

Z: Stands for "Zhong" (Medium) hardened tooth surface (distinguishing it from "Y" for fully "Ying" or Hardened surface).
The gears are made from quality alloy steel through quenching and tempering, high-frequency induction hardening, or nitriding processes. This results in a good tooth surface hardness (typically in the range of HB300-360 or HRC45-55) and decent precision.
